The first item on the right-hand tool tabs is entering dimensions.
- Depending on the unit of measure chosen for the base element, dimensions can be adjusted in 1, 2, or 3 dimensions. For linear meter elements, only length can be adjusted; for square meter elements, both thread direction and cross direction, and for cubic meter elements, width, depth, and height.
- Determining the required size consists of two parts: an initial size and its modification.
Initial size
There are 6 options, each with additional (up to 4) variations:
1. Enclosing furniture, with 3 possible dimensions (width, depth, height). Here, the initial size corresponds to the selected dimensions of the future furniture enclosure.
2. Fixed size, where there are no sub-options; the initial size is 0. The desired value must be specified in the modification.
3. Between fitting planes, where again there are no sub-options. Here, the initial size is the distance between the two fitting planes where the base element is located.
4. Before the dividing plane, with two options: width or depth. The initial size is the distance of the dividing plane from the origin, or the position.
5. After the dividing plane, similar to the previous one, but this is not from the origin; instead, it's the distance from the opposite edge of the enclosure shape.
6. Diagonal distance between dividing planes, offering 4 variations illustrated with a diagram.
Modification
- This consists of two values: one fixed and one calculated. The calculated value can be set in the Calculation table, accessible via the
icon.
Settings can be applied using the modify button.
