The fifth item on the right-hand tool tabs.
- Chamfer cuts can be defined for all 4 corners of the base elements. By clicking on the corners in the diagram above, you can choose from the available corner types.
- The first step is selecting the type of corner, which has 5 variations.
1. - Normal: No corner cutout.
2. - Chamfered: The corner is cut diagonally with a single cut.
3. - Notched: Two perpendicular cuts are made on the edges.
4. - Curved: The edge transitions smoothly into a curve without a straight break. The radius of the curve can vary in longitudinal and transverse directions, resulting in a regular quarter ellipse.
5. - Concave Curved: Similar to the previous one, but the curve bends inward. The transition is always perpendicular.
- After specifying the type, you need to determine the starting points for the chamfer cuts.
There are 6 options:
-
from the corner,
-
from the opposite side,
- and measured from 4 different variations of the dividing lines.
-
from the corner,
- The position of the cutout can be defined with fixed and calculated values both longitudinally and transversely.
- It can also be specified separately whether there should be edge sealing on the cutout, and if so, what type.
Changes must be confirmed with the modify button.
