The setup involves two main light sources and general diffuse lighting that provides the base lighting for the scene.
These can be adjusted as follows:
- With the red-circled icon, you can toggle the lighting settings on and off at the bottom of the main screen.
- When this is activated, yellow dots representing the lamps appear along with their projections to the coordinate planes. Upon returning to the setup, these will disappear again.
The three main light sources
- General diffussed lighting
- 1st lamp
- 2nd lamp
- The lamps emit light evenly in all directions.
- The positions of the lamps can be adjusted using the X, Y, Z sliders on the position panel.
- The sliders marked with red, green, and blue can be used to adjust the color of the light sources.
- By default, these move together, allowing for brightness adjustment. However, the slider to the right of them can fine-tune the light’s color to be warmer (yellowish tone) or cooler (bluish tone). When the switch above the slider is turned off, the three color components can be adjusted separately.

- General diffuse lighting illuminates everything evenly, eliminating self-shadows and completely removing contours. It is recommended to set it to 20-30%. A small amount is necessary to ensure that shadowed surfaces are not too dark.
- However, for black-and-white displays, shadows are unnecessary, so the diffuse light should be set to maximum.
- The 10th scheme is set this way by default, which the program automatically activates for black-and-white settings.

- The direct lamps can be toggled on and off with the checkboxes next to the "On" label.
Basic light schemes

- There are 10 basic scheme settings available. If you activate the Save scheme switch and then click on one of the scheme points, the current lighting setting will be saved as that scheme.
- The schemes saved here are independent of the room-related schemes.
Room light schemes

- Each room has 10 view schemes and 10 light schemes. The light schemes can be accessed through the bottom scheme points.
- When a new room is opened, these schemes automatically adopt the values of the basic schemes described above.
- If you click on a scheme, the lights will adjust according to that scheme.
- However, if you change the lighting settings, they will automatically save to the current scheme.
- These room-related light schemes are saved with the room when saving.
- When a new room is opened, these schemes automatically adopt the values of the basic schemes described above.
