Size adjustment with the mouse
-
You can only change sizes with the mouse if the Moveability with a mouse icon is enabled. In this case, red points will appear on the selected piece of furniture. When you move the mouse close to these points, a blue arrow will appear.
- Next to the arrow, the current size of the furniture in that direction will be displayed. When the arrow appears, you can drag the edge of the furniture in that direction by holding down the left mouse button. The number next to the arrow follows the size change.
- The arrow only appears if the size of the furniture in that direction is adjustable.
- You can only stretch in the specific direction indicated by each point.
- The points on the sides adjust width, the points at the top and bottom adjust height, and the points at the corners adjust depth.
- The arrow only appears if the size of the furniture in that direction is adjustable.
-
If the align to grid icon is enabled, the stretching will change in direct increments according to the set grid size. If the furniture size adjustment is not dynamic but has multiple fixed values, the adjustment can only jump to these fixed values.
-
If the body gravitation icon is enabled, the furniture will snap to the edges of other elements during stretching. This snapping is stronger than the grid.
- It is possible that the dynamic size limits of the furniture do not allow further reduction or enlargement. Detailed instructions on adjusting the dynamic sizes of furniture in the furniture database can be found on the Dimensions, positions page.
Size adjustment with icons
For more precise work, select the fourth item on the right icon bar, the Scaling tab.
Relative scaling
- In the upper part of the tab, you can change the size of the selected elements relatively using the arrows. The direction of the arrows indicates which side of the furniture will change.
- If you want to increase the size of the furniture, enter a positive number. To decrease the size, enter a negative number or activate the negative switch.
Absolute scaling
- In the middle section, you can make absolute size adjustments. First, select the desired dimension. You can edit the size of the selected element. The arrows indicate which side should move.
- The outer arrows allow you to stretch the furniture to the edge of the wall. If this exceeds the furniture's allowed maximum size, the furniture will only stretch to its maximum limit.
- If two elements are selected simultaneously (by holding down the shift key), four additional icons will appear. The edge of the first selected element can be changed to align with the edge of the second selected element. There are four options to choose from. For example, in terms of width, you can change the right edge of the first element to align with the right or left edge of the second element, or the left edge of the first element to align with the right or left edge of the second element. The elements cannot exceed their minimum and maximum sizes.
Dividing planes
- Every element can be divided with one width plane and one depth plane, known as divider planes.
- By adjusting the planes, you can change the internal structure of the furniture, such as corner cabinets, end panels, etc.
- You can set the positions of the divider planes in the lower section. For divided furniture, the sizes of the two parts are displayed next to each other. Either part can be edited, and the other part will automatically adjust. The OK icon applies the changes. This cannot be changed with the mouse.
