For Fronts, the first step allows us to choose between vertical or horizontal grain direction if using board or foil material for furniture making.
For Carcass elements, you can achieve the horizontal pattern by ticking the checkbox below the colour selection on the visible side. You need to select the color after ticking the Cross Grain box. When turning it off or modifying it, it is not enough to just change the tick, you must select the color again, regardless of what color is displayed in the box.
For wardrobe sliding doors, you can set different grain directions on multiple surfaces, complemented by diagonal rotation. This can be set on the right side of the size system, Wardrobe sliding door size diagram.
In the Accessories 1 / Basic shapes group, you will find both horizontal and vertical grain variations of the same materials. You can select and size the appropriate panel or block element as needed for your design.
When designing a base element, you can change the grain direction in the Position, mirroring and rotating tab by swapping the two axes to determine which dimension the pattern direction runs in.
In the Object designer, the direction of connecting the first and second points determines the grain direction of the surface.
