The machining assigned to the basic elements can be displayed on a dimensioned drawing here. We can dimension the properties and exact positions of holes, grooves, and rebates on the part.
In the top icon row, select what you want to display: hole, edge hole (only appears with a hole), groove/rebate, which requires selecting the furniture element and plan view. The machined surface of the element must be viewed from the front, so for example, a left side element must be viewed from the right, which can be chosen with the 6 direction change icons.
On the right side, the selected machining can be dimensioned as needed.
You can select which corner of the element should be the starting point for dimensioning.
The element can be sized in two dimensions, on four sides.
In the dimensioned drawing, you can set the size of the numbers and the distance between the dimension lines, separately for horizontal and vertical.
The options for dimensioning appear according to the selected machining.
You can use checkboxes to select which machining appears with what properties, and the width or height dimensions can be split with a slider.
For elements with many machined features, the numbers may overlap; in such cases, you can select them from the list (they will appear in red on the drawing) and move the dimensions individually.
Save, print:
On the left side, you can choose from the options described in the Manufacturing drawing section.
Clicking the icon allows you to rotate the element before exporting it to ensure the file matches the specifications of the machining machine.
By default, the DXF file is saved in the Piper3D > Data > dxf > muhelyrajz folder.
