By clicking the button framed in red, we navigate from the manufacturing preparation page to the Manufacturing drawing page.
Here, we can create scalable, wireframe, axonometric, or plan view drawings with element lists for the included furniture or their details. The parts can be displayed in 3D, dimensioned with machining data, and exported to a DXF file for further processing.
Only sheet materials (square meter) appear in the drawing.
Selection lists
On the left side, there are three lists stacked vertically.
- The top one contains the names of the furniture arranged in the room and approved for manufacturing.
- The middle one shows the square meter (sheet) elements of the furniture selected in the top list. Multiple rows can be selected simultaneously in this list. If we are in the full furniture view, the selected element(s) here will appear in red in the drawing and the list. If we are in the furniture element view, only the elements selected here will appear in the drawing and list. To deselect everything, either click on an empty part of the list or right-click on the list.
- The bottom list contains the names of the drawings associated with the selected furniture. Multiple drawings can be made for each piece of furniture. The icons below the list allow us to add a new drawing, rename an existing one, or delete a drawing. The name entered here will also appear in the list. Click on the list to choose from the drawings.
View
- In the top left corner of the drawing area, you will find the view setting icons. The top row sets what appears in the drawing, and the bottom row sets how it appears.
- The text button pair allows us to choose whether to display the entire furniture drawing or just the selected furniture element(s). The icons sequentially enable the displayable drawing elements: coordinate system, bounding box outline, dimension lines, exploded view, list. The dimension lines and exploded view icons are mutually exclusive, meaning dimensioning cannot be done in an exploded view.
The thick line icon draws the furniture elements with thicker lines. This is particularly useful for detail drawings.
The reset icon restores the initial view.
The machining view icon shows holes, edge holes, and grooves/rebates, only works with furniture element and plan view selected. To view the holes, the surface must be viewed from the front, selected with the direction icons.
The 3D icon displays the selected element in 3D with the chosen machining.
The DXF icon saves the element in DXF file format.
- In the bottom row, we have two geometric view options. The first sets whether to display in axonometry or plan view. The second offers six options for viewing the object from different directions.
- The position of the drawing on the surface can be adjusted with the mouse, similar to the arrangement process. Holding down the left mouse button moves the drawing on the surface.
- The right mouse button adjusts the depth direction of the axonometry. The scroll wheel adjusts the scale (zoom in, zoom out).
- The scale is continuously displayed in the top right corner of the surface. Clicking here brings up a list of pre-defined scales to choose from. This ratio applies to the printed drawing and naturally only to horizontal and vertical lines in axonometry.
- Any changes in the view are automatically saved to the current drawing.
Printing
-
When printing, you get exactly what appears on the drawing surface. This surface essentially serves as a print preview.
- We have three printing options:
- Print only the current drawing.
- Print all drawings of the current furniture.
- Print all drawings of all furniture in one go.
- Print only the current drawing.
Save
-
Any changes or settings for the current furniture in the room are automatically saved.
- These drawings, along with the room, are saved and can be reloaded.
- If the save icon is pressed, the workshop drawing (all drawings of the furniture) is saved in the database as the initial value for the furniture. This means that whenever this furniture is placed in a room, the now saved workshop drawing will automatically be assigned to it.
- If the Ctrl key is held down while pressing the icon, the workshop drawing is saved as a general initial value. This means that this will be the default setting for any furniture without its saved settings. Be careful to only use bounding box dimension lines since other dimension lines are attached to furniture elements, which can vary from one piece of furniture to another.
-
The save image icon allows you to save the current drawing in image format (.jpg).
Dimension lines
- Only appears if the dimension line is turned on in the view.
- For a detailed description, see the Dimension lines page!
Cabinet data
At the top, you can see the name, description, and positions and sizes of the selected element of the selected furniture.
List settings
- Only appears if the list is turned on in the view. Here you can logically set the content of the list appearing to the left of the drawing.
-
Cabint note, the note assigned to the furniture in the arranger, can be displayed.
- The Grouped switch allows the list items to be grouped by materials.
- The Square metre switch can display the total area of the material next to the material name.
NOTE! This total area always refers to the entire furniture, even if only one element is displayed.
- The Other switch can list non-square meter materials, such as hinges, legs, etc.
- When Element numbering is turned on, a number appears before the list items and on the drawing. This always points to the left rear top corner of the element. In the case of close elements, the numbers may obscure each other!
- When the list underlay is turned on, the disturbing drawing under the list disappears.
