Handling of boards used for optimization, remnants, and setting the cutting properties.
Boards
- In the left area, you can specify the boards: board name, dimensions, rotatability, and unit price.
- Turning on the rotatable option will make all elements in the list automatically rotatable. Naturally, these can be modified individually in the list at any time.
- The board price here is independent of the price entered in the raw materials!
- The Warehouse column allows you to enter the storage location of the board or the remnants.
Remnant list
- A remnant list can be linked to each saved board separately. This list can be manually populated using the values entered in the fields below (grain direction size, cross direction size, quantity) and the new icon.
- The switches in front of the list elements determine whether the optimization will use the given remnant.
- After optimization, the remnant board list can be updated, meaning used boards are deleted, and new remnants are automatically added to the list.
- The elements are displayed in descending order of size in the list.
Cutting properties (style)
- Here, the cutting parameters can be set: cutting thickness, cutting around, cutting size allowance, pre-milling for edge banding, edge band thickness, prices.
- The cutting size allowance allows you to specify values separately for grain direction and cross direction by which you want to cut the elements larger than the planned size, for example, due to special edge machining (planing, milling, etc.). The values are per side, so a 10 mm allowance will result in the cutting size being 20 mm larger. Edge banding is not considered.
- Pre-milling for edge banding does consider edge banding. The values for primary and secondary edge banding pre-milling can be specified separately. The board sizes will be larger according to the specified values for edge banding.
- The edge band thickness specified here is only considered for manually entered elements. For elements included from the arrangement, the program uses the thicknesses set there. Prices are independent of the prices used in the manufacturing preparation.

New elements can be added to any list using the new icon, values can be modified with the OK icon, and rows can be deleted or moved.
