Basic settings for selected furniture
- You can change the Name and Note of the furniture.
- When changing the name, the file name will also change accordingly.
- The file name is always identical to the name, except for the / character, as this cannot be used in file names, although it is commonly used in furniture names or codes. The program automatically replaces this with a rare character that can be used in file names (¤).
- When changing the name, the file name will also change accordingly.
Type
You can specify the type of the selected element. Based on these types, it can be determined if the element will be visible in the display.
Orientation
- Neutral: No opening direction. Mainly used for pull-outs and double-door fronts. The opening direction cannot be changed, and the handle can be placed anywhere on the front.
- Left-handed: The front can only open on the left side.
- Right-handed: The front can only open on the right side.
- Left-handed, Right-handed: The opening direction can be changed. In the furnishing tool, the handle position changes according to the opening direction.
- The setting can also affect the dimensioned drawing and production.
Application
- Insertable: It will appear in the furnishing tool at the bottom of the list.
- Scalable: The size will be written on the dimensioned drawing.
- Add to list: The furniture will be included in the item and price list.
- To production: The furniture will also appear in the production preparation.
- Not on drawing: It will not appear on the dimensioned drawing.
- Conbinable on drawing: The size drawing of the element can be set so that certain sides are not drawn if another similar type of furniture is next to it, like a countertop. The left and right sides behaving this way must be specified numerically using the Side test of joint elements button in the dimensioned drawings:
- Turns the wall off: Placing the furniture will switch off the active old-type, depth-less wall. Typically used for doors and windows among accessories that use the new wall mechanism.
-
Forced addition: This is recommended for elements to be "built into" the wall, ensuring that attached walls can take the correct size when moving the base furniture, "filling" the given side.
- Elements can also be categorized as Collector or Summable. These are used for linear elements like countertops, cornice mouldings, etc. Each mergeable element must be assigned to a pre-defined collector where its sizes will be merged. Only this collector will appear in the list during listing.
Base points for mouldings
- Here you can set where the white points (base points) appear on the furniture for mouldings (cornice, light shield) to be attached.
- The two images show the bottom and top views of the cabinet.
- You can select corners, intersections of dividing planes, or edges of dividing planes as base points.
- To apply any changes, you need to press the modify button, except for copying base points and pasting them into another element.
- The button allows you to clear all base point selections.
- If you enable the button, the selected base points in the bottom view will also be symmetrically selected in the top view.
- The buttons allow you to copy and paste base point distributions to other furniture.
- The import icon next to the modify button opens a new frame where you can import furniture. The list will contain files with a .but extension. Select the ones you want to import, possibly multiple at a time. If a .dat file was previously saved for the furniture, the database information (sizes, prices, etc.) will also be imported.
