Dimensioned drawing basics

Opening Dimensioned drawings from menu or icon View:

You can create dimensioned floor plans and wall views of the furnished room here.

• If you select a wall view, you can navigate between the walls using the arrows next to the selection buttons.
  
  
• The images of the furniture are stylized in both cases. In wall view, the fronts and handles are shown in their actual size and position.

Setting the scale

• The drawings are created with a real, adjustable scale. The scale naturally applies to printing.
  
  
  • Clicking on the scale indication in the upper right corner brings up a list of various standard scales. You can choose from this list or use the mouse wheel to step forward or backward one step at a time.

Icon explanations

•   Writes the element code in the bottom left corner of the furniture.
  
  
•   Draws a gray guide line to the dimension arrows.
  
  
•   Draws a thin red diagonal on the elements.
  
  
•   Draws the opening direction of the fronts.
  
  
•   Draws a faint, 1-meter grid as a guide.
  
  
• Which elements appear on the drawing can be set in the view tab, and which dimension lines should be shown can be set in the dimensioning tab.
