Why do different colors appear in the room when loading an old plan?
Unfortunately, it can happen that the room colors change when using the new database. This occurs because, in the past, different catalogs like Egger, Kronospan, Kastamonu, etc., could be imported separately. Each user imported these into their own database, and the system placed the colors in a specific location, but this does not guarantee that the color paths will be the same in the new database. Since these colors were located in unique places for everyone, we couldn't prevent this issue.
This is especially common with individually imported colors that only existed in the old database. In the databases issued by Piper, we do not delete old colors, so their identifiers remain unchanged.
If you have many settings with incorrect colors, it may be worth using the old database alongside the new one.
If it’s just a few setups, it might be simpler to quickly reassign the correct colors in the properties.
