During the installation of Piper 3D, antivirus programs are often the cause of problems. Although our website and the program itself are equipped with the most advanced technology to protect your information and ensure the software is malware-free, some programs still block the download of our installer. There are numerous antivirus programs, and we have tested our software with many, but it is nearly impossible to test with all. If you encounter issues, you can try the following:
If the process gets stuck during download or indicates a "no database registered" error, it is advisable to use a wired internet connection, as Wi-Fi might not be stable enough.
Important! The steps below are only guidelines. Not all antivirus programs allow these settings, and they may not need to be performed in this exact order.
1.1 Add the website www.piper.hu to the list of trusted websites in your antivirus software.
1.2 Add Piper3DInstall.exe or Piper3DSetup.exe to the list of trusted programs in your antivirus software.
1.3 Add the folder containing Piper3DInstall.exe or Piper3DSetup.exe to the list of trusted locations in your antivirus software.
1.4 Check if the antivirus has quarantined Piper3DInstall.exe or Piper3DSetup.exe. If so, remove the file from quarantine and mark it as trusted.
1.5 Ensure that you have not accidentally copied the installer file to a system folder (e.g., C:/Windows/System32/Piper3DInstall.exe). The program cannot run from system folders. If this has happened, simply move the file to a preferred location, such as C:/Piper3D/Piper3DInstall.exe, and it should work.
