Can't find the saved plans and images after updating the database?
Don't worry, everything saved before the database update can be found in a backup folder on your computer. The backup will be located where the Piper3D folder is, usually on the C: drive. The folder name will be: Piper3D_backup_"installation date".
You will have as many "backup" folders as times the program was reinstalled. Only those folders created when the database was updated will contain a database backup.
Within these folders, previous databases can be found under Data_backup_"installation date". You can copy plans and images from these databases into your new database, or you can open them directly in Piper from there. The location of the plans will be: ...Data_backup_xxxx\szobak; and the images: ...Data_backup_xxxx\kepek by default.
For other custom elements (furniture, size systems, etc.), you can use the import function to import them from the old database into your new one.
You can also set the old database in the program and continue working directly in the old database if you prefer. However, in this case, the database updates and new features will not be available/visible. You can read more about database management on the knowledge base database selection page.
