How to Join a Zoom Presentation?

• Click on the link provided in the email about the presentation.
  
  
  
  
• After that, the Zoom website will automatically open. Here, click on the "Join Meeting as an Attendee" link.
  
  
  
  
• In the next window, wait until the "loading" finishes. If the loading does not complete, click on the "download and run Zoom" link.
  
  
  
  
• In the following window, click on the "download and run Zoom" link, even if you already clicked on it on the previous screen.
  
  
  
  
• A file with the .exe extension will be downloaded. Save it if the browser asks: Zoom_[random characters].exe. You need to run this file after downloading it.
  
  
  • Download location in Google Chrome browser (bottom left corner of the browser):

  • In Internet Explorer, the download starts automatically. You just need to click on "run" at the bottom of the browser, and Zoom will start.
    
    
• After downloading and running the file, the following window will pop up on your screen. Wait until it reaches 100%, and the conference will automatically open.
  
  
  
  
• Three windows will pop up:
  
  
  • At the top, a small window will appear. Click on the "Join with computer audio" button. This sets up your computer's default audio device to listen to the presentation. The other option is dialing in by phone, which we are not using at the moment.
    
    
    
    
  • By clicking on the "Test speaker and microphone" link below the button, you can test your audio devices.
    
    
• In one of the windows, you will see the participants' webcams, or their names if they don't have a webcam. You can also chat in this window.
  
  
• The other larger window will be the presentation itself.
