The total price in manufacturing preparation does not match the price list.
It may happen that the total price visible in Manufacturing preparation does not match the final amount in the price list or the price shown in the editor. The final amount in the price list and the price displayed in the editor are the same, with the difference being that the price shown in the editor is net by default, but this can be set to gross in the default settings.
If we want to find out what causes the difference, it is worth checking the following settings:
- First, check the multipliers and surcharges. These can be set in the default settings or in the Basic components. It is also possible to set a multiplier for individual cabinets on the Cabinet database / Prices page. It’s not advisable to check each cabinet unless you have set something you may not remember. By default, there is no multiplier set here.
- In the default settings, we multiply or surcharge the unit price of all elements.
- In the basic components, a multiplier or surcharge can be set for the type of material, which will be calculated per element.
- In the cabinet database, you can set a surcharge or multiplier for the selected cabinet's unit price.

- It's possible that there are elements that appear only in the price list or only in manufacturing. This can be set in two places: on the Cabinet database / Identification page and for the furnished cabinet in the editor.
- Naturally, the cabinet database setting will apply to the selected cabinet, while the editor setting will only apply to the cabinet currently in the room.

- It may also happen that you’ve added multiple instances of a furnished cabinet to the list. This quantity only increases the element count in the price list, while in manufacturing, only the number of elements placed in the room will appear.

- It is also worth checking the settings for quotation and Manufacturing preparation to see which elements you have selected for listing. Items that are not listed will not have their prices calculated. For example, if you turn off handles in the material list settings of Manufacturing Preparation so that they are not displayed, their prices will not appear in manufacturing. However, they will be included in the quotation.
- If you’ve priced an accessory in the cabinet database, it will not appear in manufacturing, even if you select it to go into production. In Manufacturing Preparation, only elements with specific materials can appear. Accessories are typically assigned to a neutral basic element that does not appear in manufacturing. The simplest way to display an accessory in production is to create a priceable basic element and add it to the accessory in the Cabinet editor.
