The diagonal appearance on wardrobe doors can be easily set, but with this solution, we can simply adjust the grain direction on any front to the desired degree.
In step 0, we can create our own size system link to easily adjust the degree of rotation.
In the Object designer, we create a copy of a front that we will apply to furniture or to create a wall panel.
On the new front, one option is to select the surface (polygon) and modify the texture rotation by a fixed value.
As another option, we apply a size system link using the custom size created in step 0. Here, the size link ID number needs to be entered into the white field.
By entering the values, the rotation will be immediately visible on the surface. This also needs to be set on the front variants so that it appears on drawer fronts of drawer cabinets as well.
We can create several such front variants depending on the task, for example, using negative values to create a mirror image.
After saving, if necessary, we can make adjustments to the new front in the Object database (handle positions).
By placing our custom size link on the right-click output of furniture or custom elements, we can easily change it individually as well.
It is important to handle these components separately in production. The dimensions of the elements need to be modified to ensure they can be cut properly due to the rotated texture!
