From the automated cabinet editor page, you can access the types editing page by clicking on the red icon.
Furniture consists of basic elements. The automated cabinet editor selects these basic elements according to a predefined system based on the chosen type. This can be set up here.
- Thirty-six fixed basic units have been predefined (e.g., corpus, shelf, drawer, etc.), to which basic elements can be assigned.
- Based on the settings, the program determines which basic units to use to assemble the furniture. However, you need to set up which basic elements belong to which basic units here, separately for each type. So, depending on the type chosen, different basic elements will be included in the furniture.
- The positions of the partition planes must also be defined here, but the alignment planes are automatically distributed by the program according to the vertical arrangement.
The screen is divided into four sections, or frames, discussed from left to right.
First frame
The left frame contains the already created types.
- You can select from the Types list at the top.
- The icons below the list allow you to rename, move, delete, or create new types.
- Below that, you can set the positions of the partition planes with individual size links and fixed values.
- The size link must be specified directly here with a value (size system index), which differs from the usual method.
- You can also set whether the position is calculated normally or from the opposite side.
- If no values are specified, there will be no partition planes in the furniture.
- The size link must be specified directly here with a value (size system index), which differs from the usual method.
- The type selectable at the bottom is needed to determine the depth size of the drawer interiors due to different back panel solutions.
Second frame
The second frame shows the basic units.
- The left fixed list contains the names of the basic units, and the right list shows the basic elements in the currently selected basic unit.
- Checking the checkbox in front of the basic elements makes the element front-colored.
- The delete icon can remove elements from the unit.
- You can add basic elements to the selected basic unit in the third frame.
Third frame
The third frame contains the set of basic elements, divided into groups and their contents.
- You can add the selected basic element to a basic unit using the arrow icon below the list.
Fourth frame
The right frame allows you to set which size system indices the program should use for various gaps and drawer fronts for the given type.
- You need to enter the size link, the ID of the size, in the text box before the size. The sizes can be found on the size system settings page.
- Data can be copied and pasted to another type using the
buttons.
