If you designed an object that you want to place as furniture rather than a front or handle, you need to save it as a .but file. In the Object designer, you can only save as a .frt file, which cannot be placed in the room.
- After finishing your design, set the object type to Other in the basic data tab.
- Save the object as a .frt file in the ...data\frontok\egyeb folder.
- Then enter the Cabinet editor.
- Insert a neutral element from the other category.
- Use the sliders to adjust the object's size.
- Select the neutral element from the list and in the Attributes of appearence (4th icon), change it to Front and then choose the Fixed Pattern option.
- A window will appear where you need to select the .frt file you saved earlier from the other folder.
- Click the Modify button.
-
Check that the desired pattern appears as furniture using the "Draw Fixed Patterns" button.
- If everything is working correctly, save the furniture in any subfolder of ...data\butorok\.
- In the room view, you can now place the furniture from the saved location. If saved in ...data\butorok\also\normal, it will appear in the Standart Base cabinets in the room view.
